On the Trail from Lake McDonald to Sperry Chalet
The main trail to Sperry starts across the highway from the Lake McDonald Lodge parking lot (el. 3214'). With an average hiking time of 4.5 hours, this 6.7 mile trail, with its 3300 foot vertical rise, is a challenge to many hikers.
